Graduation cakes =)

Yesterday, we all baked and frost our graduation cakes =)

My friend says the cake i frost is "so me!" so....you (who claim to know me) should try to spot it amongst all the cakes in the pics...

more graduation cakes!

This is how it works, we learn different piping techniques..and at the end of the day, we need to pipe everything we learnt on the cake..for our instructor to see....thats why some of the decor on the cakes, look like an "overkill"

The Wilton rose...apparently the hardest technique to learn in the Cake Decor 1 (And no kidding..its not easy, you actually have to use some nail thingy....but its different than the ones u normally see-the fresh cream kind...cause this entire rose is manually made...no usage of cones, etc.)

we learnt a whole bunch of other stuff...but this is another of my favourite..the sweet pea =)

This is the kids cake decoration..from the week before ;)

And that marks the end of class 1.....didn't want to post up my cert..since there is too much personal info on it....now....on to the next class! (anyone wants to contribute to the "Hannah wants to learn cake decor fund?) =P

the cakes looks great!

I guess your cake must be the one with the tinge of lilac colour. The roses look nice too....very professionally done.
