The bridge between theory and application

if only one could easily cross the bridge between theory and application
then perhaps psychologists might be the happiest people on planet earth
but as i witness a counselor of many years loose his grip due to his own experiences
it highlighted the vast gap between knowing and doing
knowing all the keys to happiness can't possibly make one happy
I am sure this has been established since the ice age
and if one needs to ask oneself "Am i happy?"
the answer is most likely "no"
so there you go
we struggle to, despite the vast sea of knowledge we have on well being and what not.
