Apostles Creed - Part 2
Honestly, i was exhausted/trying hard to stay awake during the study, anyway, Mr Thea, literally re-type the entire 2 sermons for us..hehe..i must say i am impressed by the standard of preparations of the leaders this time around...so far the 1st 2 studies been great... (no pressure to the subsequent leaders), but its truly diversity at work, thats the beauty in taking turns to lead.
What stood out for me?
Father...learning about the attributes of our heavenly Father, made me realize how blessed i am to have both the Father Almighty, and my earthly father, David aka Papa, truly, a man after God's own heart.
Through the years, his fervent faith in God through the good and bad times, has taught us (his children) important lessons about life and God. My passion for the word of god perhaps stems from the fact that the 1st thing i saw each morning as i scurry down the stairs is my dad / my dad & mum doing their daily devotion at the dining table...i would then try to soften my footsteps.
Stern, yet loving, and as i grow, more of a friend than father. I love you daddy, and You too Abba Father above!
