Bunny New Year

After hours of browsing through blog templates, I have finally settled for this one.

Can't say I love it more than the last, but it'll do for now...

In my search for the next NEW look for z blog, wonder whether its just me, or the blogger templates these days are getting really specific i.e. travel specific, food specific, business specific, and my is really a potpourri of stuff...so yeah..

At one point, I was starting to think that what my blog really needs is a new post, rather than a new look, but oh well, some change wouldn't hurt.

Looking at my 2010 archive, i only wrote 14 posts! I think back when the blog started, i could write 14 posts in a week! I must really do better this year... i have truly forgotten how therapeutic blogging can be. But perhaps as I aged, i have also become more private...who knows?

2011 (random in no particular order)

1. I decided to have a poll on my blog, hopefully I will update it often enough...i really miss doing research, and explaining data, so hopefully you'll be kind enough to vote, so that I can make up stories from those numbers :P
2. Really excited and nervous about my new role in Ripples, though its not like they are strangers to me, but i guess the sense of responsibility... that said and done, of late i have been having moments of warm, fuzzy feelings (watching how they have grown and mature)...though cheeky and notorious as ever still ;)
3. I am finally an owner of a functioning personal laptop (have been surviving with my work laptop only, to save $$) AND a XX" LCD monitor AND an iPad (won this, though haven't really had a chance to used it yet, its touring Paris) AND an IPhone 4 ). My teens who are really adults now remarked the other day that typically only guys like gadgets and make a fuss about it...i beg to differ! I LOVE techy gadgety stuff...or rather i just love anything that drives efficiency..(yea right) i just love my gadgets la (I do wonder why i have never mention this is my interest/hobbies/about me, its odd, truly)
4. I want to continue to read more books, though i have realized the genre of books i've read of late has been evolving...maybe cause someone else is buying the books? hehe
5. I want to spend less hours @work/traveling 4 work, i seriously hope my employer/boss does not read this, but even if they do, I thought the organization promotes Work Life Balance..haha...life's too short I know its so cliche to say this, especially if you had recently loss someone, but life REALLY is too short, and when someone else my age died of skin cancer recently, it truly hit home!
6. Ironically, I was thinking perhaps I should just writing random stuff about work, in fact, I even thought about changing my blog title, doesn't quite fit with where I thought about going with this blog, but we'll see...maybe all the work series needs is a label...*my first poll, might just be my first topic in this series
7. We had a 3 way Skype session for reunion dinner, since only 4 out of the 6 members could be present in person, not ideal, but better than nothing! At one point, we placed the 2 laptops facing each other haha for them to conversed!
8. At some point of the year, to do something about my hall...
9. Go hashing more...
10. Look into ways I can make even a tiny difference in BolehLand...Vote for CHANGE people!
11. ...enjoy CNY for now...
