rose stained view

If you can embrace lost
and smile when all you cherish is taken from you
then you can face life
and smile in the face of adversity
cheer in the midst of chilly storms
and allow life to surprise you

And surprise you it will
Sweep you off your feet so quickly
You would loose your balance
Present you with little wonders that were once foreign to you

Perhaps once you've lost "Big"
nothing else can be much worst
everything else feels like a mere pinch

So let life slapped you around
and pierce your soul
for surely you would be refined as gold

Perhaps it will shatter your rose stained view of life
Prick your conscience every now and then
but it will all be worth it in the end
or so i reckon it would
and the events unfolding seem to suggest likewise
