Was scouting for food with my friend, the other night or rather morning....cause he haven't had dinner..and ended up at the Uptown Foodcourt...to my amazement, many stalls were still open...but we decided on this one "Pirate Steak" perhaps cause it looked more hygienic and professional. All steaks and chops are RM10 and below.. =) so, if you have cravings for a chop/steak, and yet am on a budget...this the place to be...of course a separate recommendation would be the Foodcourt @ ss2 (not WaiSekKai, its the one with all the IndoMee signages, and open air)...steaks there are cheap as well, but i reckon Pirate Steak serves better quality and quantity...so..there you go.....(of course, don't expect it to liken "The Ship" "Chillis" "Jake's Charboil" and of course NEVER expect it to taste like those mouth watering steaks at "Prime, Le Meridien")On a side note...i've been baking Mango cupcakes and due to my OCPD-ness or Nam reckons it should be attributed to anal tendencies/being anal retentive (Characteristics :They set high standards and perform well at work. They are dependable, responsible and are obedient employees. To avoid shame and doubt, anal-retentives are meticulous, precise and tend to be obsessive about dirt and rigid about rules and regulations. They are almost always on time and their work is neat and orderly. They are conservative in their views and have a strong controlling sense of duty...sounds like anyone you know?-i doubt i am absolutely anal retentive..maybe partially) [this is also because Nam has these tendencies too =P
Anyway, i doubt i will be posting anything up, till i have perfected the cream cheese frosting..the cupcake is fine..its just the frosting...not as pretty as i hoped it would be..
...and..uh.. there are a bunch of pics still in the folder "food" that are worthy of an entry...and its going to be a series on economical food places...as part of a college project...hopefully i'll get around to it!
