Its interesting to see how the famous story of the 2 loaves and 5 fish can be interpreted from such an angle, at least i never saw it that way before. It is often preached and discussed from the perspective of the miraculous wonders of God. Yet this in itself, makes the word of God, so alive...and there is certainly truth in the Word being applicable both in the past, in the present and in the future.
The notion that struck me the most is how often we fail to look into the details of the scripture, e.g. the sermon last week, the reasons behind why Nicodemus visited JC by night than by day (once again, i can't wait to BS to start again, i really enjoy those, 1 verse = 1 sermon kind of learning).
And so, when Mr Martin emphasized how JC could have fed the crowd but gave it to the 12 to do so instead, it never became so clear to me that truly JC could have done a better job, but he nurtures us, and gives us a chance to learn and grow and to serve Him. This is a pure reflection of God's grace.
For those who were expecting a long post..eheh sorry to dissapoint you..but i think this alone make time stood still for me to ponder upon God's grace in my life. And how we should consider ourselves bless that He has chosen us to do His work!
There are really 2 things in this world that really makes me stop and ponder at his Greatness..1. His Word 2. His Creation.. (true nature lover)
