Rojak post

There are 1001 things you can blog about, not sure about you, but if you are an avid blogger, as you come across things in your daily life, you will have this "lightbulb" moment...and experience the "this might make a great blog post phenomenon"...i never quite comprehend some of my friends manage more than one blog....of course i must agree with them, that its a whole lot more organized, since like food, recipes, diaries, movie reviews, etc. are blogged separately (i keep forgetting what labels i have, or forget to tag my post correctly, thankfully there is a search function, so it doesn't really matter whether my labels are right, still for people with a pinch of OCPD (Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder - for the benefit of non psych students, and no, its not as serious as it sounds..and if you do bother to click on the link, you'll realize it sounds like you too!) This incidentally reminds me of my career inspiration essay i had to write whilst applying for scholarships, and one of the things i aspired to do, was to debunk the misperceptions society has on Psychology, and i guess, this could be a little step towards that. It's really not about crazy people...and these days psychologist tend to focused on positive affect/emotions. ***********************************************************************************
LOOK AT THE SEPARATOR...i've been meaning to do something like that, i mean i have seen it in so many other blogs..ahhaha i think its sort of like instead of having a few separate post, you can rojak everything into one....suppose to provide the reader some sense of clarity i guess...i'm sorry if you are not amused...i tend to get amused by rather queer stuff at times, we shall not go down that road today...

Coming up in the new week...or rather beginning today....i yet again have at least 2 quizzes to study for, journals to read, a thesis proposal draft to hand up, music practice, catching up with friends, visit to Lunar Bar, and my college is going for another Malaysia Book of Records Entry...and i'm in! apparently you get cert for being part of the whole thingy....this truly deserves a post on its own...so wait and see =) Student Council...we need to get our trip and ball going...posters, auditions, etc...should be up some time this week, and so far everyone's been asking, so we're all really excited....and looks like "Greek Paradise" is taking a lead on the poll on Bpsych.net

Bible Study will be kicking off soon, and this time around we will studying the Apostle's Creed, can't wait...i truly miss our "Stott-filled" afternoons...and "Apocalypto" nights, and the good news is that there will be new people joining us this time around!...I'm finally learning all the names of the youths in Ripples, and that's great, cause i don't have to whisper gently in another person's ear to find out the person's name before talking to them (though i must admit, i did it once today), but i'm learning them, slowly yet surely....every single one of them are so unique in their own ways, each a story to tell...

Movies, been enjoying buy 1 free 1 movies...reviewing movies is really Kelvin's thing...though he hasn't updated his blog for awhile, must be his new job perhaps, and the long traveling hours....but here's what i've watch recently, "the brave one" a must watch for budding forensic psychologist...its a rather deep film if you really give thought to the msg-es a lay person is sending to the cops by being able to take down criminals the cops been trying to hunt down for years...Knocked up on the other hand, is a slap stick comedy sorta of movie, not lovey dovey enough to be a romantic comedy, yet not funny enough to be at par with films like Scary Movie or American Pie....
