event week..

Ever since i started working, blogging has evolve into something i attempt to do while waiting for my hair to dry. Some people from down under have comment on my lack of entries, so here goes, updates from my hectic week...

The place i called home for the past week

I know it doesn't look quite as hectic from the pictures, but despite the luxurious hotel (owned my paris h....?), mouth watering food and relaxing hot tub i get to soak in at the end of everyday, it was certainly a sleep deprived week, thank god for weekends (movie and shopping therapy) and all the SLEEP i manage to catch up on (and yes i am aware that we can't catch up on sleep per se, we just like to pretend we can).


My colleague from work, actually manage to convinced me to take pictures in the washroom....i guess these are some of the things you will look back in time and laugh about...there were indeed some crazy shots, which in my opinion should not be available for public viewing..so...yea...this is as good as it gets...the batik skirt is not even a skirt per se, for the event/conference i was attending, we were just given a 2 meter piece of cloth and told to wear it that night.i guess i did alright. green has never really been my favourite, but we didn't really had a choice, but i think it turned out quite alright. It was certainly amusing to see people turning up with all sorts of creative wraps..


And yes, i got to meet alot of people from all over the world, and finally get to put a face to the extended name list i have been mending for the event. Its really funny how you would for example a Bianca would probably be some blonde 6 feet tall chic and she turns out to be the total opposite, and i had so much fun going through all the names from different countries, i must say some Thai names are totally exquiste. The name in itself have a magnetizing effect, but it was certainly great to finally put a name to a face.

We also did an outreach event as part of the conference, but i reckon that deserves a post on its own, and yes, the next time i am waiting for my hair to dry, i will attempt to write one.

XXX* was able to convince me to take more pics...and these are just a couple of them...i will not even begin to describe to you, how many she took, i was a lil too tired to smile though after a long week. XXX was certainly in the mood of photos though..i ended up being the photographer for her :)

This picture doesn't quite belong here, it was actually taken at Sepang Goldcoast at the Palm Villa showroom. But i just got it in an email, or rather finally downloaded it from my email..so decided to post it up.

And just in case you were wondering, i DID NOT go to the starlight cinema...i guess i'll just have to wait till next year...today was heaps of fun though, touring the city with a bunch from friends from the UK, and yes, more pictures to come...once i find time =) till then cheerio...
