to build bridges over man made lakes and rivers..and yes i know this place has existed for years..well, not that many years, still, i haven't had the time to take a tour yet...till today..my questions, whats the relevance of building man made lakes, then building bridges across them? 2) why build big pillars to hold 4 spot lights 3) why have tremendously aesthetic street lights every 1 meter, when other areas of the country could benefit from a single bulb? 4) why have a drinking fountain out of nowhere....ok..i think this list is not going to end...though i must say i am pretty impressed with the overall designs if you don't think about how much of your tax money goes here, just count the amount of potted plants, or lights they use to light up the buildings at night...gee it trully feels like i am in another country...my next mission really is to go visit in the day, daylight might paint a different picture..don't you think?Tuesday, April 24, 2007
where your taxes go to...
While the rest of the world is probably busy filling up tax forms online, i had the priviledge of discovering where the tax money go too....

perhaps they're trying to create an atmosphere of a sculpture garden of some sort? well..i know how it feels to see them being plain boring, art IS boring in one point of view, but to the others ..it may be an inspiration ;)
