Basil, Bangsar Village 2

Had to meet a customer at Bangsar to pass her stuff, so decided to visit the new wing of Bangsar Village. The mall certainly had a certain air of aristrocracy, various outlets are rare in KL and even the ones that are common eg. Vincci has a different outlook and the shoes are at least twice the price of a "regular" Vincci outlet, yet the range offered is amazing.

Restaurants, Sakae Sushi which is quick becoming "the place" to dine as the long queue at theCurve's branch suggest also has an outlet there, besides that, you can spot 2 Bakerzins, Marmalade, Delicious, and of course the mall wouldn't be complete without a Starbucks.

We wanted to dine at Sakae Sushi but it wasnt open yet so ended up in Basil, Bangsar Village 1

if you have dine in "good evening, bangkok" "just thai' and the list goes on and on...they are all under the same group with different trading names.

As you can see, we ordered Tomyam Seafood for 2, entree was a dish of 4 variety (spring rolls and all), beef with hot basil leaves, kailan with salt fish and the yummy "otak-otak"

While waiting for the food, Mr Miki cheesecake which was situated directly opposite Basil was calling out to me, to i dash over to buy a cake and reverse the whole dinner then dessert sequence, it was yummy as usual, cheesecake served fresh from the oven and melts in your mouth.

After dinner and did some window shopping and turned up to be "real" shopping cause I ended up buying a top for a friend then reluctantly returned home after browsing through books at MPH..... n that's the end of a break from the books...
